If Jesus were to appear to you...

If Jesus were to appear to you and say, "I have healed you. Healing is yours. You can receive it right now," what would you do? Would you doubt him? Would you argue with him that we never know what God will do? Would you tell him that he's wrong; no one can really do this faith stuff? Or would you take your healing? I hope that you would believe his words and take your healing.

Jesus is the Word (John 1:1). He has already told you that he has healed you (1 Peter 2:24). The written Word of God has just as much force as if Jesus appeared to you and said those things in person. The Bible contains God's words to you. It is a more sure word of prophecy than if you had a vision or a visitation. You could always dispute what you saw or heard in a vision, but the Word of God is forever settled in heaven. You can always go back and verify what it says and be sure of it.

If you would receive your healing if Jesus said these things in person, you should receive your healing now because he has said those things to you personally through the Word of God. Failure to do so indicates that a vision would be more important to you than the written Word, which is a very dangerous attitude. Anything God says in the Bible has the same authority as it would if Jesus appeared to you and said it to you in person.

Think about it.
